Depth, weight and separation: a mix that holds together at volume and still reads on a phone.

A transmission from the void where expansive, hard-hitting sounds await.
Relentless basslines, complex rhythms, and dark, sexy, esoteric vibrations fill the ether. The performances are electric, dynamic, and full of mayhem.
Born in the California desert to parents who made knives and jewellery. Deep in crystals, snakes and tarot at thirteen. A Pink Floyd laser show in Los Angeles was the turning point. Bass in a grunge band, then the San Francisco rave scene in the late nineties as a full-time DJ and manager of Frequency 8 on Haight Street, the first record store in America dedicated to trance and techno.
Founder and label boss of Fierce Animal Recordings since 2009, a space built to explore the boundaries of the genre, and now of KONDUIT, a new imprint whose first release, YIRAH, is out now. Twenty-eight years later the thread holds: a catalogue of records, a room full of modular, and a line of instruments named for the four elements.
Gigs across Germany, Dubai and the United States. Since 2023, back on peak-time driving techno and not looking sideways.
A studio full of Eurorack synced to Ableton and a Neve on the summing bus. Teaching for Sonic Academy, Ableton, SAE and Pyramind.

YIRAH is here. The first release on KONDUIT.
Hebrew for the awe that sits beside fear: the feeling of standing in front of something too large to take in. Six minutes of peak-time techno built on a heavy kick, hypnotic synths, and razor-sharp stabs. The break is where it earns its name: the tempo lurches unpredictably between 65 and 160 BPM with no pattern, drums de-sync around a haunting vocal, then everything slams back at full force. The drop doesn’t build. It arrives.
This isn’t a comeback. It’s a reset.

Major-label mixing and mastering out of a room built for techno. Rupert Neve analog summing, BetterMaker precision processing, and twenty-five years of knowing what a record needs to survive a club system.
Depth, weight and separation: a mix that holds together at volume and still reads on a phone.
Dimension, colour and translation. Loud where it needs to be, and never at the cost of the low end.
Production, sound design, release strategy and the part nobody teaches: how the industry actually moves.
A label with catalogue numbers running across both records and instruments. Four generative engines named for the four elements, and the reactor that turns a record into a video.
A genre-aware bassline engine. Real musical DNA per genre, not a random arpeggiator. Switch the genre and the pattern changes because the rules did.
The lead. Call and response against Sigil: one generate, both instruments answer each other in the same key and scale.
Drop a track in and it scores the whole video itself. It reads the arrangement, finds the drops, changes scene per section. 18 cores, 28 palettes, mic and MIDI on the Live tier.
The groove engine and the granular vessel. Fire solves the hidden groove; Water transmutes sound through named alchemical operations.
Everything a promoter or a writer needs in one file. Approved photography only. Anything else needs written clearance.

Rooms, nights and line-ups from twenty-eight years on the floor. Not a complete record, because nobody kept one. This is what survived.
